Democracy reform

Directdemocratic procedures complete the instruments of the representative democracy. The new procedures are referenda, popular vote, and a codesigning of the lists of candidates through cumulative voting and through the selection of applicants of different lists of candidates.

The parties compete for contentwise contributions of the citizens, co-formulating the political will of the parties. They energetically improve the interface for mutual communication with the citizens, especially with the non-members.

The citizens directly select their head of state.

The German Basic Law (the provisional German constitution of 1951) is evaluated and reformed with the goal of active integration of the citizens. The new constitution was put into effect by a popular vote.

The financing of the parties is arranged with the target to minimize hidden influence on politics (exclusion of corporate donations or complete renouncement of donation financing).

Captivating and corruptibility of all political agents - not only the members of the administration – have become criminal offences. Offences against the party law are punishable as well. Those offences, which attack the substance of democracy, are punished with specific preventive effect, i. e. by temporary loss of eligibility and, if repeated, by final loss of eligibility.

Key functions in parliament, in parties and in the executive including the position of the chancellor are exclusively assigned on time; the maximum amounts to two electoral periods. State functions and party functions are not to be covered by the same person.

Unity of western and eastern Germany

East and west have created a common discussion basis for the core targets of the constitutional reform, accessable to all citzens and residents.

The parties promote the meeting of eastern and western people and exchange of views with high priority.

The basic conditions of the 1990 reunification are examined for the unequal allovcation of political, economic and cultural chances to the people of both parts of Germany.

It is a core aim of politics to diminish the economical, cultural and political dependency of the eastern part of Germany and to strengthen autonomous development forces on a basis of equal partnership.

Foreign and military politics

A German Federal Armed Forces function law concretizes the tasks of the German Federal Armed Forces enumerating the cases of military applications (outside the case of defense and non-military disaster relief). An independent body publicly evaluates the decisions and the concrete archieving of the mission targets.

Obligations resulting from military alliances like NATO or the European Defense Union meet the same request of lawful concretizing. Already in the context of the testing of new alliance strategies – and right before the respective modification of alliance contracts - the citizens are protected from case-referred decisions of the national and supra-national administrations with the same quality.

Germany sticks to the military service instead of a soldier army - in order to keep awake civil embarrassment and political feedback and to prevent interest-led military decisions.

The internationalization of politics (EU, UN, NATO) and the privatisation of citizen-relevant fields of politics - also in the context of the globalization – are actively arranged by development of transparency and democratic co-operation.
